Brazilian Judiciary. Upon hearing these words, business owners immediately think of places crowded with cases and immense red tape. The number of lawsuits in progress and the number of new demands filed daily reinforce these concepts.

Data published by the National Justice Council (CNJ – Conselho Nacional de Justiça) prove that business owners are not wrong: by the end of 2017, 80 million cases were in progress nationwide, awaiting definition.

The Justiça em Números (Justice in Numbers) survey, published annually to guide the work of judges and court staff, assessed that, in the first instance, the gateway for a lawsuit in court, a sentence takes about two years and six months to be delivered. The average time increases to six years and four months if we consider the judgement decision or execution.

In light of this scenario LG&P has always taken the position of not allowing its clients to become part of these statistics. The LG&P team has dedicated itself to studying possibilities and setting its sights on the client’s business dynamics. We plan and structure the firm’s Business Department in a multidisciplinary, innovative, resolutive manner, guided by performance indicators.
